One of the biggest and best-known German game companies, Blue Byte developed and published many underrated games across a wide range of genres, from adventure to RPG to strategy. Its best-known games are The Settlers and Battle Isle series, both of which attracted a loyal following and are still going strong. Some of Blue Byte's games were published in the U.S. by SSI.
