A fun edutainment title designed for kids ages 7 to 10, Ancient Empires is another solid game in The Learning Company's celebrated "Super Solvers" line. Ancient Empires is a basically a treasure hunt, but with algebraic problems in place of puzzles. As with TLC's other games, on-line help and tutorial are very well-written and hints are available within the game if kids are discouraged on a problem. Overall, a great game that doesn't have as interesting plot or setting as Operation Neptune, but is still a lot of fun to play. Recommended!
