Despite its placement in the genre here, Totally MAD is not an educational title (unless you count Snappy Answers to Stupid Questions educational). It is not even a game. It is however a very good way to waste your time and money on a product that will give you hours of humor from "the usual gang of idiots". Totally MAD is a 7 CD collection of EVERY mad magazine from 1952 till 1998, it also has some neat video clips and animations as well as audio clips from the various freebies they gave over the years.

All content on the CDs are scanned in high detail and they are all printable as well, MAD fold-ins are even "virtually foldable". Totally MAD also includes a wonderful search engine, enabling you to search by year, features, subjects, artists & writers and Alfred E. Neauman himself. You can select any copy of mad by simply going through all the covers from 1952 till 1998 as well.

You view the strips with the Veeblefetzer, and get information on various comics and "articles". You can also rotate the scans (so you don't need to stand on your head or turn your monitor upside down). Each magazine comes with a full table of contents so you can just go to the desired page if you wish. Lastly, you can bookmark your favorite strips for later reading.

All in all Totally MAD includes hours and hours of MAD reading material and for an affordable price. My only wish is that there be "add on" CDs to add to this already great collection. Two thumbs up, way up!
