Jumpman is one of the best "ladder" games (e.g. climb various ladders to the exit) that were hugely popular in the early 1980s. Your goal is to collect all the bombs to advance through levels, while avoiding obstacless. There are some "extras" that make Jumpman better than most ladder games, such as menacing floating balls that will hit you if you don't move fast enough. Like most similar games, Jumpman is extremely easy to get into and enjoy. Overall, a nice little gem, although not as fun as Big Top or Lode Runner. If you like it, check out Apogee's excellent remake on this site called Jumpman Lives!, which the company marketed only briefly before a legal threat from Epyx forced them to cease distribution.
