Game #1231
Hall of Belated Fame Inductee  Virtual Pool    View all Top Dogs in this genre
Sport   Pool or Snooker

 Virtual Pool box cover

 Virtual Pool screenshot
Undoubtedly one of the most revolutionary sports games of all time, both in its revolutionary cue interface and gameplay options, Virtual Pool somehow didn't do well commercially despite rave reviews from the press. The game features intuitive controls that combine mouse and keyboard into a very flexible and realistic cue movements, 3D table that could be viewed from any angle, and crisp SVGA graphics. Undoubtedly the best pool game ever created and a true underdog.
